02 Jul 4th of July Inspired Food
This weekend is fourth of July, and it’s a great opportunity to plan some fun activities with the family. Whether it’s a trip to the beach, or a picnic at the park, why not take some time to transform your table (or picnic blanket) into a patriotic display of red-white-and-blue while you’re at it. It can be a great way to get the kids involved by helping out in the kitchen and spending some much needed quality time. You might be surprised to see how much fun even the youngest members of your family can have, so don’t be afraid to get creative. Here are some ideas to get you in the spirit.
1- Start the day off with some delicious pancakes by I am Mommy. They are easy to make and perfect for the occasion.
2- In addition to all of those salty chips, why not have your family indulge in some healthy fruit snacks throughout the day.
3- For lunch, enjoy some barbeque chicken and avocado cucumber salad. Check out IHOD for the complete recipe.
4- Stay refreshed with this tasty sangria by Simply Swider. Check out the link for the details.
5- After the meal, make sure to leave some room for dessert. Check out Life, Love, and Sugar for some great recipes.
